LithoPhane FAQ

LithoPhanes originated from porcelain molds that varied in thickness to either allow light to pass through or to block it. Designs and images were used to decorate various pieces of art and furniture throughout history. Today the concept remains the same and with 3D Printing it has become easier than ever! They are printed vertically in layers and the filament is is varied in thickness to achieve the desired result. Currently we offer a Sephia tone Lithophane but coming soon will be multicolor lithophanes.

Lithophanes are made from images you supply either digitally or physically  ( physicals will be returned )

These can be a cherished photo, cool picture, beloved pet and more!

We offer A 5x7 sized litho and also a 3D printed Lightbox that uses multicolor LED strip lights with a USB plug for an additional charge.

Lithophanes look awesome when placed in a windowsill with sunlight or similar light source.
